June 22   Wildling Art Museum opening of “Endangered Species; Flora and Fauna in Peril” art show and competition exhibiting through Sept. 14.  Showing at the Department of Interior Museum, Washington, D.C. from Nov. 1 through Feb. 28, 2009 and at the Wildlife Experience Museum, Parker, Colorado from May 9 through July 12, 2009.  “Steller Moment” by Terry Woodall was selected for this exhibit. www.wildlingmuseum.org

Artists for Conservation Foundation awarded Terry Woodall an artists fellowship for artistic field studies under their Flag Expedition program.  Terry will study the Baikal Seal at Lake Baikal, Russia in the month of July, 2008. www.natureartists.com/flagexpeditions

Aug. 30 “Art and the Animal” annual Society of Animal Artists members art exhibit and national tour opens at the Neville Public Museum, Green Bay, Wisconsin, and shows through Nov. 2, followed by The Wildlife Experience Museum, Parker, Colorado, from Dec. 6 - Feb. 8, 2009 and Dunnegan Gallery of Art, Bolivar, Missouri, from March 15 to May 15, 2009. Sept. 28   “The Art of Conservation” nature art exhibition opens at the Hiram Blauvelt Art Museum, Oradell, New Jersey and runs through Dec. 21.  A bronze sculpture, “Spawning Fever” by Terry Woodall,  was selected for this art exhibition.  www.natureartists.com

Oct. 4 - 5   Pacific Rim Wildlife and Western Art Show, Portland Expo Center, Portland, Oregon.  Terry Woodall was selected as the Featured Artist for this art show.  www.wildlifeartshows.com

Nov. 14 - 16  San Bernardino County Museum Wildlife Art Festival, San Bernardino, California.
