The Art of Conservation

Details: Two of Terry's wood sculptures of pinnipeds
were selected for the prestigious international exhibition of the Artists
for Conservation Foundation. This fifth annual exhibition, The Art of
Conservation 2012, will be presented in conjunction with the second annual
ten day art festival at Grouse mountain resort in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
Grouse Mountain is one of Vancouver's premier attractions, set on mountain-top,
accessible by gondola and overlooking Vancouver and the ocean, and was
highlighted during the 2010 Winter Olympics. With wonderful facilities
for art display, seminars, social events, a theater, fine dining, nature
trails and a wildlife refuge with Timber Wolves and Grizzly Bears - all
just a few minutes from downtown Vancouver and 45 minutes from one of
the world's top outdoor/alpine resort towns - Whistler, B.C.
Some highlights of this year's event include the juried art exhibit of
approximately 75 artworks, film premiere, art workshops, lectures, and
demonstrations (in which Terry will be involved), a Gala Fundraising and
awards dinner with a keynote presentations, involvement from First Nations,
and much more.

26th International Exhibition on Animals in Art
Date: Saturday, March 23, 2013 to Sunday, April 21, 2013
Location: Veterinary Medicine Library, Louisiana State
University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Details: 26th Annual exhibition of Animals in Art, a
month long showing of 75 art works selected from artists from the United
States and Canada. A sculpture of a sea lion and salmon of the Pacific
Northwest by Terry Woodall was juried into this exhibition.

Visual Artist Showcase and Video Archive
Date: Friday, April 05, 2013 to Saturday, April 27, 2013
Location: Newport Visual Arts Center, Newport, Oregon.
Details: The Oregon Coast Council for the Arts has selected
Terry Woodall to present a month long exhibition of his wildlife and sea
life sculpture as part of their Visual Artists Showcase program. The exhibition
will include over a dozen art pieces and a presentation video shown for
the duration of the exhibit covering the artist at work. the video and
stills will become part of the Coastal Oregon Visual Artist Archive.
